Finding a wedding venue to suit your eccentric ideals and host all your friends and family for a intriguing and unforgettable night can seem like an impossible task when you’re situated in Phoenix, Arizona. Thankfully, the hard work has been done for you and I’ve toiled around to gather my personal recommendations for any and all couples looking for a wedding venue that makes your heart beat and your eyes light up.
The venues on this list meet a few requirements I consider non-negotiable when searching for a location that can handle being the backdrop for a big, memorable, and experience focused wedding. These are all located in the greater Phoenix area, and any out of town guests will be able to easily access the venue and nearby lodging when flying into Sky Harbor airport— which means practicality doesn’t have to fall on the wayside in favor of a striking location.
Additionally, the venues below all have unique character and a signature look that you just can’t quite find anywhere else. You’re in for a treat no matter which venue strikes your eclectic fancy.
For my weird, eclectic, artistic darlings, this is your venue. I promise. This is a historic masterpiece, with attention to detail at every turn. They can host up to 150 guests, and you’ll want to fill your guest list to the max when you see their cocktail bar, moody lounge, and amazing dance floor. Their add on list is extensive, which means you can pick out all the amenities you desire without paying extra for things you may not need. Trust me though, I have a feeling you’ll be saying YES to absolutely every part of this venue.
The Wright House in Mesa has allllll the makings of a wedding venue your guests will be talking about for years to come. From their striking provencal garden with an unbelievable fountain to their checkered ballroom dance floor, you will want for nothing at this luxury fairytale-worthy venue. They have packages ranging from DIY to all-inclusive, so you can let your imagination run wild or turn the details over to a set of in-house experts.
The IceHouse is an incredible open-air cathedral, and has a beautiful combination of indoor and outdoor settings. This is another venue that can skew itself towards a gorgeous, bright, timeless, colorful wedding or a moody, sexy, intimate evening affair. The adjectives are endless because this space can handle anything you want to throw at it.
Tercero is another stunning venue that leaves the door open to any and every possibility you’re imagining. The exterior architecture is one of the most unique options I’ve come across in Phoenix, and the options for an indoor/outdoor event are incredible. They have all-inclusive packages available, but their option to bring in your own outside vendors is enticing, and will give you the opportunity to create a night to remember for you AND your guests.
A perfect blend of historical architecture and heavenly floral landscaping, The Hermosa Inn is tucked into Paradise Valley’s camelback mountains and is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. They can host up to 60 guests and have no shortage of beautiful locations for private vows, the ceremony of your dreams, and a reception that will leave your guests wanting more.
If you, like me, have a flair for the dramatic, then look no further than The Ashley Castle. If you’re craving an old-world European style wedding with the comfort of warm, desert evenings and no 10 hour flight, this is the perfect venue for you.
Hands down, The Boulders Resort is one of my top venue recommendations in Phoenix. They boast a luxurious landscape and stunning, clean desert architecture. There are multiple ceremony locations that can host a varying number of guests, so no matter your guest list you can rest assured your dream wedding will be perfectly accommodated.
