When my husband and I were getting married, there was one thing on our venue must-have list that wold make or break our final decision— whether or not our pups could be there with us. I know I’m not alone, either, as I see more and more friends bringing their dogs along to their elopements, or bestowing the task of “ring dog” onto their favorite pups. Whether your guest list is 10 or 100, there should never be a doubt about whether or not your whole family can join, which is why I wanted to compile a list of dog-friendly wedding venues in Arizona!
THE URBAN GROVE – Tucson
To begin, I want to take a huge moment to highlight the venue where I ended up having my own wedding. The Urban Grove is a beautiful, historic orange grove situated in the middle of downtown Tucson. From the Spanish colonial architecture to the enchanting smell of orange blossoms in the spring, your wedding will be magical all year round here! The entire grove is completely fenced off, and the owners are on site all day to help your vendors set up, and guide your guests to the ceremony location. You have access to the entire outdoor property, so you have the opportunity to host your ceremony in front of a beautiful doorway entrance decorated with magenta bougainvillea and white stucco with a separate reception in the back, with a beautiful pool and large covered patio lit with string lights. We loved every moment of our day, and loved that our pups got the chance to run around with our guests!
Highlights:
Helpful, hands-on owners
Day-of vendor coordinator
Up to 100 guests
Liquor allowed
Getting ready suite available
POCO DIABLO RESORT – Sedona
The next venue I wanted to share is the breathtaking Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona. Holy smokes. If you’re looking to treat your guests, yourselves, and your pup to a gorgeous experience tucked between Sedona’s iconic red rocks, Poco Diablo is your place. There are several spots on the grounds for your ceremony and reception, and they offer full service for parties of 25-150! Their wedding packages include selections as simple as a patio ceremony and reception, to a full-scale, all-inclusive experience with a drool-worthy menu, a premium bar, and even a couples massage for you— the newlyweds!
Highlights:
All-inclusive packages available
Up to 150 guests
Four-course meals available
Indoor and outdoor locations available
Getting ready suite available
Hotel accommodations available
THE AGAVE – Sedona
We have another Sedona venue up next! One thing I love about this little town is how dog-friendly they are. We never have trouble finding a pet-friendly patio when we’re visiting. The Agave is another stunner of a venue, and they boast a gorgeous patio with a stunning panoramic view of the red rocks, and space for up to 200 guests! Another thing I love about The Agave is that you can bring your own alcohol. If you appreciate local breweries and craft tequila, this can be another make or break when finding a venue! Once again, they also offer both indoor and outdoor space, and an in-house kitchen. You won’t want to skip a visit to The Agave when you’re looking for your perfect venue.
Highlights:
Up to 200 guests
Kitchen available
Getting ready suite available
Bring your own alcohol

NORDIC VILLAGE – Flagstaff
If you’re getting married in Arizona, there’s a pretty big chance you and your love are the people who don’t shy away from getting a little dusty outside. If “elegant ballroom” doesn’t fit your idea of a good time, don’t worry— you still have options! Nordic village is a gorgeous outdoor venue in Flagstaff, Arizona. Their ceremony space is a gorgeous, grassy field surrounded by pine trees, and you have a large yurt and a large pavilion tent to choose from when deciding where to host your reception! They also offer lodging for your friends and family who want to stay and enjoy the Arizona meadow a little longer! These include BBQs, fire pits, and plenty of additional accommodations that will suit any camper’s needs. If you’re looking for a beautiful change of scenery without sacrificing the sunshine, Nordic Village is the way to go.
Highlights:
Outdoor location
Lodging available for guests
100+ guests (fee for each additional chair over 100)
Covered reception area
Half-day and all-day rental available
THE FARM AT SOUTH MOUNTAIN – Phoenix
Alright, now that we’ve looked around the state, let’s head back to the valley to see what Phoenix has to offer— thankfully we’ve got two amazing venues that let your pups tag along! The first one I want to share with you is The Farm at South Mountain. I had the opportunity to visit The Farm with my friend (and fellow wedding photographer Samantha) a couple years ago, and this place is truly one of Arizona’s hidden gems. They have exclusive catering provided for all events and weddings, but welcome outside wedding cakes! They also have several bar packages available. There are two beautiful outdoor spaces to choose from, and can accommodate up to 150-250 guests! The Canopy offers a gorgeous ceremony location with a look out towards well-tended meadows, and a covered space for your reception, while their smaller location Stone Grove is a dreamy, European-inspired space with a gorgeous stone wall handmade with ancient Arizona granite. This space also includes a wood burning oven and string lights that create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for the most important people in your life.
Highlights:
Two unique outdoor venue spaces
Covered reception area
Up to 250 guests
Full-service catering
Bar packages available
Wedding day coordination team
WAREHOUSE 215 – Phoenix
Last but not least, we have the historic Warehouse 215. It is the perfect intersection between timeless architecture and modern comfort, and will be the ultimate blank canvas for your dream wedding. They have an indoor space and outdoor patio, a full-service bar, and plenty of room for everyone— this is the largest dog-friendly venue I found, with a max capacity of 300 guests! While the main location is an industrial, indoor space, there is plenty of natural light coming in from large square-paneled windows to make sure you still get the best natural light for your ceremony photos. There’s nothing I don’t love about this space, but knowing that you don’t have to leave your dog at home while you celebrate marrying your best friend is possibly the best part!
Highlights:
Unique, timeless architecture
Indoor and outdoor space available
Up to 300 guests
Full service bar
